The ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues from all disciplines is essential.We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist who is eligible for Vocational Registration with the NZ Medical Council and/or a Fellow of the Australasian College of Psychiatrists (or equivalent).Health New Zealand - South Canterbury is responsible for the delivery of services throughout the South Canterbury region, and Timaru Hospital (131 beds) serves a district population of approximately 50,000 based in a General Hospital Facility, which has just commenced a significant refurbishment programme, providing our local community with critical 24/7 services such as ED, ICU/CCU, General, Orthopaedic, & ENT Surgery, O&G, Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Oncology & Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, and Paediatrics.
