Older Persons Psychology Team Leader

**About the Service:**
The mental health service provides high-quality care and support to older adults in the Waikato region. The service is staffed by experienced professionals who work together to deliver comprehensive care and support to individuals and their families.
**Job Requirements:**
- Registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Experience in older persons psychology or a willingness to develop skills in this specialist area
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):**
- To conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of older adults presenting with a wide range of mental health problems
- To formulate and implement evidence-informed treatment plans to address complex mental health issues
- To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
