**About the Role:**

In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working to provide high-quality mental health services to older adults. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, formulating and implementing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of older adults presenting with a wide range of mental health problems
  2. Formulate and implement evidence-informed treatment plans to address complex mental health issues
  3. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure person-centred care

**Requirements:**

  • Registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Experience in older persons psychology or a willingness to develop skills in this specialist area
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
