Mental Health Specialist for Older Adults

Waitemata District Health Board is a major regional hospital in Hamilton, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area.
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist with a geriatric focus to join our team of specialists in providing quality clinical services to older adults within our boundaries.
The ideal candidate will be a versatile and flexible clinician who has a passion for working as part of a team and contributing to service enhancement.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality clinical services to tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau within our region.
- Ensure that the appropriate and current knowledge, skills, and attitudes in psychiatry are applied to clinical situations and team decision-making.
- Participate in clinical partnerships to ensure that tāngata whaiora and their whānau receive integrated, effective, and efficient assessment and care.
