Job Description

As a Wellness Partner at Arvida, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. You will work closely with them to support their personal care needs and encourage resident-led decision making in areas such as eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities.

Your focus will be on empowering residents to maintain skills and independence. This will involve observing, documenting, and communicating health conditions accurately. Ongoing training is essential for this role.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties including care, cleaning, and laundry. Night shift roles are available from 11pm to 7am.

Requirements
  • You must enjoy interacting with older people and find meaning in your work.
  • A commitment to high performance standards is essential, with diligence and care being key attributes.
  • You should be able to work effectively within a team, respecting both residents and colleagues.
  • Honesty, integrity, high energy, physical fitness, and enthusiasm are all essential qualities.
  • Good customer service, organisational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • You must be available to work rostered shifts, including weekends and nights.
