About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Breast Care Service as a Clinical Breast Care Coordinator. The two 0.5 FTE permanent positions offer a role in a clinical leadership position, shaping strategic direction and delivering holistic care for patients with breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve the experience for patients with suspected or diagnosed breast cancer, including their whanau.
  • Coordinate care for patients with breast cancer, improving timeliness of access to diagnostic and treatment services.
  • Enhance connectivity between primary and secondary care, ensuring seamless patient transitions.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification, with a minimum of three years' experience working within general surgery or a relevant service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, driving improvement in patient care.
  • A strong focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
