Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, including mentoring graduate engineers.
  • Manage the maintenance engineering portfolio to ensure optimal performance and reliability of distribution assets.
  • Oversee integration of distributed generation projects, including solar and wind farms like the Ruawai Solar Farm.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of new technologies to meet future demands.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and practical solutions.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Electrical Engineering (Diploma or Bachelor's degree).
  • 10+ years of industry experience, particularly in distribution systems (negotiable for the right candidate).
  • Hands-on experience or keen interest in integrating distributed generation onto networks.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • A collaborative and relationship-focused approach, working seamlessly across multiple stakeholders.
