Booster Financial Services, a leading financial services company in New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Senior AML & Compliance Analyst to join their team in Wellington Central.

About the Role
  • Support the operation, maintenance, and development of Booster's AML Risk Assessment and Compliance Programme.
  • Conduct transaction monitoring, due diligence training and assurance, reporting requirements, policy reviews, and support new product launches or product changes from an AML/CFT perspective.

This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of initiative. The successful candidate will have experience in compliance, risk, regulatory or AML focused roles within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and progress the ongoing development of the Booster Group's AML/CFT risk assessment and compliance programme.
  • Complete transaction monitoring and ongoing due diligence for the business and its various products.
  • Assist with annual and ongoing reporting requirements.
  • Support or lead the implementation of AML/CFT training, and engagement with other teams across the business as well as customer due diligence assurance.
  • Prepare papers required for the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.
  • Coordinate periodic review of policies and procedure documents.
  • Support new product launches from an AML/CFT perspective.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent research and analytical skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and respond effectively to change.
