Senior Procurement Specialist

I am working with a dedicated public service organisation to find an experienced senior procurement or commercial specialist.
Joining a tight-knit team of 8 experienced procurement professionals you will be rewarded with a diverse work load and opportunities that can really challenge and develop your skills.In this role, work on the end to end procurement process for a number of diverse procurement projects.In addition to this you will;Design, lead and guide the end to end procurement processContribute to the procurement planning, sourcing and manage risk for the organisation.Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholdersBecome a trusted advisor for strategic procurement and commercial standards & practicesDriving organisational effectivenessSupport in reviewing the supplier diversity strategy.The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a senior procurement specialist or a commercial business partner, with proven experience in managing the end to end procurement process.You will have experience in the following:Identifying procurement risks and opportunities to develop sourcing strategies.Identify and lead continuous improvement activities.Guide stakeholders on best practice supplier relationship and contract management.Building relationships & confidence with internal stakeholdersSupport commercial capability development.What can you expect?Salary range: $125,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.A supportive and inclusive team cultureDiverse workload within an organisation focused on giving back to the NZ communityA supportive and engaging leaderHybrid workingIf you would like to learn more about this opportunity apply now or reach out to Megan on 044716462 or email ****** Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
