I am working with a dedicated public service organisation to find an experienced senior procurement or commercial specialist. Joining a tight-knit team of 8 experienced procurement professionals you will be rewarded with a diverse work load and opportunities that can really challenge and develop your skills.

In this role, work on the end to end procurement process for a number of diverse procurement projects.

In addition to this you will;

  1. Design, lead and guide the end to end procurement process
  2. Contribute to the procurement planning, sourcing and manage risk for the organisation.
  3. Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
  4. Become a trusted advisor for strategic procurement and commercial standards & practices
  5. Driving organisational effectiveness
  6. Support in reviewing the supplier diversity strategy.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a senior procurement specialist or a commercial business partner, with proven experience in managing the end to end procurement process.

You will have experience in the following:

  1. Identifying procurement risks and opportunities to develop sourcing strategies.
  2. Identify and lead continuous improvement activities.
  3. Guide stakeholders on best practice supplier relationship and contract management.
  4. Building relationships & confidence with internal stakeholders
  5. Support commercial capability development.
