Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales and Procurement Specialist to join our team at Toyota New Zealand. In this role, you will play a critical part in sourcing and selling high-quality used vehicles to our network of dealerships across the country.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled sales professional who is passionate about the automotive industry. As an Automotive Sales and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and procuring high-quality used vehicles from various sources, including Japanese auctions and local rental fleets;
  • Pricing and negotiating deals with our dealership network to ensure maximum value for both parties;
  • Building strong relationships with our dealerships to understand their needs and preferences;
  • Providing excellent customer service to our dealerships, responding promptly to queries and proactively supporting them to achieve their sales targets;
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to make informed decisions and optimize our used vehicle sales strategy.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in sales, account management, purchasing, or inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills;
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer
