Your Role

We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused HR Advisor to support our HR operations across various colleges within University Partnerships Australasia. This role will provide HR advisory support to our Australian and offshore Colleges as well as our New Zealand based Colleges.

About the Position

In this role, you will work closely with HR Managers and Operational Leaders, providing expert advice on employment agreements, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices. You will also assist in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, support HR data management and reporting, and provide broad HR administration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on New Zealand employment agreements, including CEA's; Employment Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), and workplace relations.
  • Guide managers on performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Support policy implementation and ensure compliance with Employment Relations Act; Fair Work and international employment regulations.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Support HR data management and reporting.
  • Provide broad HR administration support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in an HR advisory role supporting diverse business units. You will also have knowledge of Australian Employment Legislation, Fair Work, EBAs, and Awards, as well as strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills. Ideally, you will have experience in a unionized or industrial relations environment and knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) practices.
