The role of a senior medical physicist involves providing medical service support to the radiotherapy department on a day-to-day basis. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to take part in the establishment of new techniques and development of our MR-Linac service. Additionally, you will be involved in the training of our registrars and may participate in research opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical service support to the radiotherapy department
  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and services
  • Train and mentor registrars
  • Potential participation in research opportunities

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in Medical Physics
  • Professional registration from a recognized body
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MR would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Elekta equipment(s) would be beneficial
  • Interest in research and development is desirable
