We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our team at Napier City Council. As a key member of the Downer Alliance Ahuriri Group, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of essential projects and ensuring the highest quality of service to our customers.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer requests, tracking progress, and coordinating diverse project activities. You will also engage with stakeholders, resolve challenges, and track performance metrics to ensure the success of the Alliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective contract management processes to ensure accurate registration, tender procedures, and notices.
  • Track and manage customer requests, providing regular updates and communicating proactively.
  • Engage with stakeholders, resolve challenges, and track performance metrics to ensure the success of the Alliance.
  • Maintain quality assurance records for work completed by the Alliance team and subcontractors, collaborating with the Delivery team to document records in required systems.
  • Work closely with the Network Manager to process Traffic Management Plans and Corridor Access Requests promptly, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • NCEA Level 3 or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration processes.
  • Knowledge of Council operations.
  • Experience in network maintenance or civil construction (preferred).
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Problem-solver with initiative.
