Job Overview

Hendrix Genetics is seeking a highly skilled accountant to join our local finance team in Tuakau. As an accountant with our company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as an accountant will include:

  • Preparing and submitting accurate, timely and complete financial reports
  • Analysing financial performance and providing insights and recommendations to support business objectives
  • Coordinating closely with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Executing the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with local management and the global finance team
  • Providing variance analysis and explanations for any significant deviations from budgets or forecasts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • CPA or CA qualification preferred
  • Proven experience in financial management, ideally within a multinational organisation
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with advanced skills in Excel
