Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist

As a Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital part in assisting clients and their whānau, collaborating with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers. Your goal will be to help older people and individuals with complex disabilities regain independence and stay in their own homes for longer.
The focus of this role is on rehabilitation and working towards patient goals, while closely working with families of patients. You will need to have a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective rehabilitation, using a patient-centred and evidence-based approach.
This position belongs to the expired NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between step 1 ($69,934 p.a) and Step 5 ($83,349 p.a pro rata) of the EN scale.
