The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Acute Psychiatry role presents a unique opportunity to work with a team of mental health professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and guidance to the team on matters related to mental health.

You will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary clinical team to develop and implement plans to improve mental health outcomes. Experience in projects that give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks is highly desirable, as is competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori.

A key aspect of this role is to act as a role model to nursing and support staff, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. You will be required to become knowledgeable and gain experience in privacy legislation, Mental Health Act (MHA) legislation, and more.
