Job Opportunity: Strategic Supply Chain Director

The Procurement & Contracts Manager role at Join Our Team, Waikato offers a unique chance to take on the functional leadership of our procurement and contract management processes. As a recognized expert in procurement and/or contract management, you will confidently grasp what we are doing well and identify areas for improvement.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to develop processes that align with our procurement policy and support staff in their ongoing use. Your responsibilities will include reviewing complex and/or high-value procurements, providing advice on procurement risks, and leading tender evaluation processes for significant procurements. Additionally, you will establish and manage supplier panels, lead the use of the GETS platform, review tender and contract documents, and provide a robust approach to contractor performance monitoring.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years' experience in procurement and/or contract management. A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as Engineering, Construction, or Procurement, is also essential. You should have a thorough understanding of commercial contract forms, including CCCS, Framework Agreements, NZS3910, and NZS3916. An eye for detail, passion for procurement activities, and current, full driving licence are also required.
