Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Professional to join our Pathways Health and Wellbeing Team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with experienced professionals to deliver holistic support to tangata whaiora.

You will be responsible for developing individualized plans, providing education and coaching, and facilitating group programs. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our clients, their whanau, and our multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements

  • Current New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or recognised equivalent
  • Experience as a support worker in a mental health or addiction setting
  • Strong understanding of Te Ao Maori and its application in a healthcare context
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
