Senior Speech Language Therapy Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech Language Therapist to join our Child Development Team in a challenging and rewarding role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech language therapy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support children's communication, feeding, and swallowing needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including paediatricians and psychologists, to assess complex cases and provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to families on how to promote their child's communication, feeding, and swallowing skills
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech language therapy
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Registration with the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists' Association
- Current APC
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience
- Possession of a full, clean motor vehicle driver's licence
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
