About the Role
  • Supporting children with complex communication and eating, drinking, and swallowing support needs in a community-based setting.
  • Working as part of a team alongside an Early Intervention Teacher and other Specialists from community-based organisations.
  • Developing and implementing Speech-Language Therapy programmes for each child in collaboration with whanau/families and early childhood teachers.
About You
  • A recognised qualification in Speech-Language Therapy and eligibility for membership of NZSTA.
  • Undergraduate paediatric dysphagia training and post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working with preschool children in an interdisciplinary team environment and with Augmentative/Alternative Communication Systems.
