The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead for Acute and Specialist Mental Health and Addiction services. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to drive positive change within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic planning processes that align with our directorate plan and broader health reforms
  • Grow and develop front-line clinical leadership, promoting an enabling and responsive approach to leadership
  • Provide operational management of acute and specialist mental health and addiction services
  • Drive the implementation of integrated clinical pathways that align with our acute model of care and new acute inpatient unit
  • Work in partnership with our leadership team to implement our programme of transformational change

Requirements

We are looking for someone with relevant clinical qualifications in mental health addictions, a master's qualification, or at least 5 years' experience within mental health addiction services at a senior management level. You will have knowledge and experience of integrated care approaches within mental health and addictions, a track record in leading and managing positive change, and an understanding of addressing equity issues across the sector.
