Job Title: Oncology Nurse Specialist GI

Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled and experienced nurse leader to provide clinical leadership and support to patients and their whanau during the oncology treatment journey.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Provide professional and clinical leadership to nursing teams
  • Prioritise workload and work effectively within senior nursing teams

Requirements

  • A commitment to biculturalism
  • A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Maori
  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • Minimum Level 3, preferably Level 4 practice chemotherapy certified RN with strong oncology nursing background
  • Expert clinical knowledge and leadership skills
