Senior Nursing Leadership OpportunityExciting opportunity for personal and professional growth and development.1.0 FTE Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology Nurse Specialist permanent position based at Te Toka Tumai Auckland.The Oncology Nurse Specialist GI primarily provides clinical leadership and support to patients and their whanau during the patients Oncology treatment.
This involves working collaboratively with Radiation and Medical Oncology multidisciplinary teams to provide care to patients based at Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, regionally at our local delivery sites and into community settings as the service expands.It is important that you can provide professional and clinical leadership to support nursing teams, prioritise workload and work as part of a supportive senior nursing team so that excellent clinical care can flourish.To be considered for this role:A commitment to biculturalismA commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for MaoriA current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)Minimum Level 3 preferably Level 4 practice chemotherapy certified RN with a strong oncology nursing backgroundExpert clinical knowledge and leadership skillsPost graduate qualifications, preferably to master's level with a focus on NP or prescribing pathwaysInnovative mindset and able to network with different stakeholdersAn ability to work effectively and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsYou will be competent in the use of IT systems, e.g.
