We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at Wellington Regional Hospital.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to work independently and collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing advanced comprehensive care for patients in the emergency setting
  • Performing assessments, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with MDTs as applicable
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff to manage patient flow efficiently
  • Ensuring the highest level of care and safety for all patients

About You

We are looking for a recognised advanced practice nurse that has a passion for ongoing learning and development with the ability to share, support and develop the practice of others.

The successful applicant will have proven advanced emergency nursing expertise and be highly organised with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
