Job Description

As an Early Childhood Program Aide I, you will work under the guidance of the Center Coordinator to contribute to the success of our early childhood development program.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and cater to the unique needs of individual children.
  2. Guide children through daily routines, fostering a safe and healthy learning environment.
  3. Contribute to curriculum development and engage parents in the program.
  4. Handle special care concerns and participate in nutrition and sanitation activities.
  5. Support center staff in all activities and share janitorial duties.
  6. Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience working with young children required.
  • Program Aide II requires DOE Ed. Tech III certification.
  • Must pass background checks.
