Child Development Coach

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Centre whanau to design and implement engaging educational programs that promote child-led learning and development
- Facilitate activities and sessions that foster positive guidance and mentorship among parents and caregivers
- Support whanau in using Te Reo Maori and encourage participation in the Playcentre Education programme to increase qualification levels
- Develop and write learning stories highlighting tamariki achievements and developments
- Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers in exploring their children's learning and development
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher or an Early Childhood qualification of Level 4 or higher
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to achieve this qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage with tamariki and adults alike
- Knowledge of ECE regulations and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Ability to use technology and communicate effectively via various channels
