About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Events Coordinator to join our team. As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering successful events that enhance the student experience at the University of Canterbury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate multiple student-focused events from concept to execution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure event success.
  • Develop and implement event strategies to meet student needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. event management, marketing, tourism, hospitality, communications).
  • 2+ years industry experience in planning and delivering successful events.
  • Strong understanding of the events industry and its processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
