About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Spray Operator to join our Auckland team based in Drury. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining outdoor environments.

This role involves spraying and vegetation control on a reactive or scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications on rural roads primarily in southern Auckland. This may include some mechanical edging. The role is dependent on favourable weather conditions; when weather is unsuitable, you will be assigned alternative tasks, including litter collection and other park and open space duties alongside the roadside mowing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out a spray round
  • Meeting KPIs to ensure top audit results
  • Maintaining the chemical spray equipment being used
  • Undertaking spray duties on a scheduled and reactive basis
  • Undertaking other tasks necessary for open space maintenance
  • Using devices for daily operations
