Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the bid writing process from start to finish
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposal content
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Driving continuous improvement in our proposal content
  • Working collaboratively with a graphics designer to produce compliant proposal documents
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An understanding and demonstrable application of capture planning, strategic, and customer-focused writing
  • Previous proven experience in business writing and/or bid writing in the civil engineering sector
  • The ability to write succinctly and persuasively for a business/engineering audience with creative flair
  • Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposal documents
  • An understanding of graphic design principles and the ability to work collaboratively with a graphics designer
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to see the 'big picture' at the same time
  • The ability to assign tasks to others and track delivery of those tasks so deadlines are met
  • The ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines with strong time management/prioritisation skills
