About the Role

Our client, a leading resource recovery specialist in New Zealand, is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Bid Writer to join their team. As a key member of the sales function, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional bid documents that exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in tender writing and coordination, with a strong understanding of what makes a best-in-class submission document. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, including the marketing team, to ensure that the design and layout of the document are professional and that messaging is clear.

You will be responsible for reviewing non-Price elements of bid opportunities to ensure they are understood and responses exceed client expectations. Additionally, you will maintain all required current tender information, including client documents, Notices to Tenders, and final submission documents.

We are looking for a talented individual with 3+ years' experience in a Tendering/Bid Writing role, who possesses basic bid coordination skills and is a strong copywriter with editorial skills. Experience in Local or Central Government tenders is preferred.
