We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team in Nelson Marlborough, New Zealand.
Job Description- Deliver quality ophthalmology services to improve health outcomes in the region.
- Participate in the ophthalmology roster with on-call duties.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team providing general ophthalmology care and teaching junior medical staff.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists or equivalent.
- Eligibility for an Annual Practising Certificate with a vocational scope of Ophthalmology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A generous annual allowance for continuing medical education expenses.
- An employer-matched Superannuation contribution of up to 6% of annual earnings.
The salary for this position is based on the current Senior Medical and Dental Officer collective agreement, dependent on skills, experience, and vocational registration in NZ. The estimated salary range is between $200,000 and $350,000 per annum, plus benefits.
