We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, including General Radiography, CT scanning, MRI, Interventional/Cardiac Cath Lab, and ultrasound. Our department offers a comprehensive range of imaging services, dedicating a gold standard service to a diverse patient population.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across the region. They will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centred environment, participating in a 24/7 rotating shift roster.

We offer opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement, as well as a full-time equivalent salary range of $74,842 to $104,466 (Steps 1 to 7) based on the current APEX Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

Requirements
  • Registered with the NZMRT Board and holds a current APC or is eligible
  • Proven experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to high standards of patient care

Experience in CT is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
