We are seeking a NZ Registered Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team serving adults over 65 in central Auckland experiencing acute mental health challenges or behavioral difficulties associated with dementia.

About the Role:

  • Provide psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions using evidence-based best practice principles.
  • Work directly with individuals, providing psychological assessment and treatments.
  • Collaborate in the design of care plans and advocate for individual goals.
  • Coordinate with the wider team to develop solutions for sustainable living.
  • Participate in case management and be part of an Urgent Clinician roster.

Requirements:

  • Full and clean driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal effectiveness and adaptability.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
