**Community Mental Health Team**

Auckland District Health Board is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team serving adults over 65 in central Auckland.

The successful candidate will work closely with individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges or behavioral difficulties associated with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  2. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a community setting.
  3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to team discussions.

Requirements:

  • NZ Registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Current APC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
