The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Fundraiser / Grant Writer to provide consultancy fundraising and grant writing services. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing a fundraising strategy, researching and identifying potential grant opportunities, writing and submitting competitive grant proposals, and providing ongoing support for successful funding acquisition.

The scope of work includes:

  1. Strategic fundraising consultation with the General Manager
  2. Conducting a needs assessment for our fundraising efforts
  3. Developing a strategic fundraising plan (short-term and long-term)
  4. Researching and identifying relevant grant opportunities (local, government, private)
  5. Drafting, editing, and submitting compelling grant proposals
  6. Ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and deadlines
  7. Preparing necessary documents, budgets, and supporting materials for grant applications
  8. Advising on best practices and adjustments to improve fundraising effectiveness
