The Youth Justice team at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children works collaboratively to support young people and their families. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of rangatahi and contribute to achieving our vision of ensuring New Zealand is the best place in the world to be a child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with whānau and other professionals to develop and implement plans for young people.
- Supporting rangatahi to learn independence skills and participate in activity-based programs.
- Attending meetings and appointments on behalf of young people.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary starting from $57,760 to $65,334, depending on experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
