**Job Description**

We are seeking a Government Legal Specialist to join our team as a Senior Solicitor. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice to support our regulatory activities, including litigation and compliance matters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality and timely legal advice to support our regulatory activities
  • Managing litigation files related to licensing and disciplinary processes
  • Working closely with external counsel on litigation files
  • Appearing on behalf of the agency in Tribunal or Court proceedings

You will have at least 5 years' post-qualification experience and a strong understanding of regulatory regimes and the machinery of government. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to provide coaching or mentoring to colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about promoting public confidence in the performance of real estate agency work and protecting consumer interests.
