Kiwibank's in-house legal team is at the forefront of shaping the company's strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on retail banking products, working closely with other teams to deliver good customer outcomes.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a legal counsel, preferably in retail banking, with knowledge of relevant legislation such as the CCCFA, FMCA, and FTA. A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently are essential.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide trusted advice on retail banking products
- Report to the General Manager Legal – Customer
- Work closely with other teams to deliver good customer outcomes
