About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Assistant to join our team in Waihi. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for driving the ambulance and assisting with the delivery of patient care under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care (under supervision)
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- Able to work under pressure as part of a team
- New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or work visa
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values
