The University of Auckland seeks a highly motivated and organized Student and Community Engagement/Recruitment Adviser to join our Schools and Community Engagement Team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to recruit new students through targeted events on and off campus in schools or community groups.

You will work closely with key designated faculties as a relationship manager, ensuring their needs are met by the Schools and Community Engagement function, and they provide the services and activities to meet those needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, and school administrators. You will also contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to student recruitment and engagement.

As a Student and Community Engagement/Recruitment Adviser, you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills. You must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, as well as experience in relationship management and te ao Māori. Agile experience or an understanding of cross-functional team ways of working in an agile environment is also desirable.
