Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all the cloud products, arming our customers with required tools & tactics to get the most out of their Product and Support investment.

AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and use latest technologies to provide unique solutions to our customers' individual needs.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to drive customer interactions and provide tailored solutions for our customers.
  • Interact with leading engineers around the world and partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
  • Leverage your customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in administration and troubleshooting across DevOps/Deployment, Orchestration Management, Containerization, Configuration Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Continuous Integration Technology (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, or related tools).
  • Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field OR equivalent experience in a technical position.
  • Experience in Web and Application Server technologies including deployment and troubleshooting (e.g., Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, IIS).
  • Experience in scripting or development using Python, Node.js/JavaScript, PowerShell, Golang or Bash.
