About the Role

The Awanui Group is a well-established provider of laboratory services to clients nationwide, supporting the health and wellbeing of animals across New Zealand. They are currently seeking a Medical Science Technician to join their Mt Wellington laboratory, where they will play a critical role in the Haematology Department. This individual will be responsible for analysing blood samples, reporting results, and maintaining quality and technical standards.

The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in science, with a preference for haematology experience. Excellent computer skills, including fast and accurate data entry, are also essential. In addition, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritise workload, and adapt to change is crucial.
