About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Advisor, Te Reo Maori Workforce Supply and Leadership. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of education in Aotearoa by providing intellectual and thought leadership, and delivering top-tier advice to support the overall purpose of our organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Lead Advisor, you will be responsible for crafting and refining current strategies/initiatives and delivering solutions to ensure timely, well-placed, and skilled teacher availability. You will also mentor team members and ensure sector-wide views and perspectives are reflected in our work.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with proven experience who can bring a passion for te reo Maori revitalization, school leadership, and a desire to improve opportunities for akonga to learn in and through te reo Maori. You should have sharp critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, robust business writing and presentation skills, and a deep understanding of government operations. Experience in leading national change initiatives and policy or service design skills are highly desirable.
