We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team in a rotational physiotherapy program. This exciting opportunity is designed to provide comprehensive experience across various clinical settings, including acute inpatient services, rehabilitation, outpatients, and community physiotherapy.
Program Highlights- Six-Month Rotations: Gain valuable experience in multiple areas of physiotherapy, including medical and acute stroke, respiratory, surgical, critical care, orthopaedics, emergency department, medical assessment unit, and paediatrics.
- Flexible Start Dates: While rotations change periodically, you can begin at any time, with opportunities to start in different quarters throughout the year.
- Additional Responsibilities: Participate in weekend and on-call rosters, and cover weekend shifts as part of the weekend rotation program in certain rotations.
We are looking for a hardworking, self-directed learner who is keen to grow their knowledge and skills across a range of clinical areas. Candidates should be open to being placed in any rotation within Health New Zealand Southern, with a focus on developing quality services in collaboration with others.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach towards learning. A drive to develop quality services, while working alongside a committed inter-professional team of health professionals, is essential.
This role is suitable for physiotherapists with less than 3 years of experience, looking to develop their skills and expertise in a supportive environment.
