About the Role
Dunedin Hospital offers a Physiotherapist Rotational Programme, providing comprehensive experience across various clinical settings. This programme is designed for new or recent graduates eager to advance their career in a supportive and diverse environment.
The rotational placements include acute inpatient services, rehabilitation (inpatient and community), outpatients, and community physiotherapy. Participants will gain valuable experience, develop skills to work autonomously, and learn to prioritize their learning goals and professional development plan.
As part of this role, you will work alongside a committed inter-professional team of health professionals, collaborate with others to develop quality services, and participate in weekend and on-call rosters.

About You
We are seeking hardworking, enthusiastic, and self-directed learners who are keen to grow their knowledge and skills across a range of clinical areas. Candidates should be open to being placed in any rotation within Health New Zealand Southern and have a proactive approach towards learning.
A motivated and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial for effectively working with clients and within a changing health environment.

Programme Highlights
Six-Month Rotations: Gain valuable experience in various clinical settings.
Flexible Start Dates: While rotations change in February and August, you can begin at any time. We are currently looking for candidates to start in April 2025 and June 2025.
This position will be suitable for physiotherapists with less than 3 years of experience.
