About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Development Professional to join our South Island Investment and Planning team, driving business cases for social housing developments on Kāinga Ora properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse opportunities and problems from a broad perspective and understand the considerations and constraints for various investment opportunities.
  • Prepare and present development feasibility options.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to explore opportunities to renew our portfolio throughout the South Island.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in property, finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Existing experience in development strategy, project management, development management or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with an advanced level of experience using pivot tables and lookups.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the organisation in a professional manner.
  • Understanding of consenting processes and architectural/urban design.
