We are seeking a skilled Ward Clerk to join our team in OPAL, our Older People's Assessment and Liaison Unit at Palmerston North Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure seamless patient care.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and administrative skills, including:

  • Proven word processing and working knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Experience with data entry
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Have a customer-focused approach to all aspects of work
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
