Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional to join our Workforce Regulation Monitoring team. This role will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop workforce strategies and provide assurance on regulatory authority performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a whole-of-sector view of workforce regulation, training, and education, identifying risks and opportunities to enhance regulatory frameworks.
  2. Provide expert, evidence-based advice to Ministers and key stakeholders on workforce regulation issues, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  3. Build strong relationships across the health sector, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to drive alignment and shared objectives.
  4. Lead analytical work on workforce regulation, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring robust use of data to support decision-making.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship management skills and experience in engaging with a range of sector groups and agencies.
  • Ability to engage with issues through both a strategic and operational lens, ensuring that short-term decisions align with longer-term direction.
