In the role of On-call Casual Librarian, you need to understand that our communities are at the heart of our libraries and we are focused on connecting people.

This position offers a hands-on librarian role within a large team of library professionals.

As one of the team, you will be dynamic in your front of house customer service style and enthusiastic about contributing to the big picture of the library team and service.

You will have a flexible approach to taking on a variety of operational tasks as required and a can-do attitude.

As Puke Ariki offers a seven day a week service you will need to be flexible around working to meet the business needs of the library service with regards to a roster that includes weekend and evening work.
